I like the look of this land from this altitude. I’m not sure it looks this good close up. I found this while I was reading and researching “That Old Ace in the Hole” by Annie Proulx.

My granddaughters taken today at 4pm.

Ive done a lot of pictures here over the years. Located near the summit of the road that goes from Truckee, CA to Kings Beach (aka “Kinky Beach”), Lake Tahoe. This is from last Satudays drive out of town to see some fall color.

Drove all the way to Markleeville for this and some others. I liked this best.

Lisa modeled for me once and I got some great images. I was using color film in the 4×5 which was unusual for me.

Done with my 4×5 camera in about 1992. This is her house. I always liked working in environments familiar to my subjects. I colored the banana on the stove in photoshop. Original was in black and white.

Chelsea was always standing like this, with her mother holding her. I thought of the hold parents have on their children until the day they break free. She is finally free…

This area of the Double Diamond Ranch area in Reno, Nevada is now well developed. This image was taken where RC Willy’s is now.
